This is a painting I did for a friend of mine.

Fancy work! All it needs now is some mountain goats. Seriously, though, very nice.

Haha, thanks Olena! You're right about the mountain goats though but maybe next time. Clearly my blog needs more mountain goats! lol

haha. Just thinking about the mountain-goat-appreciating community. Speaking of which, I saw so many butterflies at work the day after our chat. Freaked me out. Maybe it was a sign.

Lol! A sign of what though? Perhaps they are congregating to form an attack on human civilization or something. I'm glad humanity at least has SOME people who occasionally suspect butterflies of things. :p Were you thinking of starting a mountain goat appreciation society?

Oh course! I am a champion of all goodness. I mean, who else noticed how creepy those butterflies are? :P I'm sure there is already some fancy mountain goat appreciation society in existence...maybe I should join them.

Lol! Maybe you should. If not you could always start it and be the head horns or something. You could all wear goat hats naturally. The world needs a force of good against the butterfly conspiracy I say! Failing that maybe there is a facebook group lol.

I looked it up on facebook, and there seems to be a band called The Mountain Goats. I should look into them ;D Head horns sounds pretty good, I do enjoy a little alliteration in my tittles :P I went to the Museum of Natural History this weekend, and they had a butterfly exhibit. Fighting the butterfly force is definitely going to be an uphill battle :P

lol! They are infiltrating our cultural institutions now! Is that the museum in Ottawa that you went to? I've never been, although now I know to watch out for butterflies thanks to you. Horned helmets would be fun! Its what vikings wore for centuries right? (although technically yes, its not historical)

Do you want to keep in touch over facebook or msn? The goat appreciation society must keep organized somehow. The butterflies may be reading our plots haha.

Just so you're e-mail doesn't get spammed by it being out in the open I've deleted your post and added it here sans your e-mail :)

"I went to the one in New York City. It was pretty neat. You're right, though. For all we know, the butterflies may have a blog of their own :P

Want to add me on MSN? My email address is - (see what I did there? some people don't get it. Regardless, here you go.)"

That's awesome. I have never been to New York but I do hear they have some really good museums and such.

Hahah, I do see what you did there and its very clever! I'm glad our side of this great conflict has such cleverness lol

I've added you to my msn. See you on there sometime!

haha thank you for that precaution. My MSN is kind of faulty, so I didn't get your invitation, or whatever it is called. Can you email me? I'll add you.

New York had so many museums! I loved it! And yes, cleverness is vital to the survival of this society, I do believe :P
