I made this over the weekend. It took a while but it doesn't look too bad. First the line art and then the rough version.

More experimentation

I was exploring with painting a bit more tonight.

I'm not sure which is better, the one with or the one without the face paint.

A new way to paint

I've been meaning to paint this for a little while. I'm so used to colouring within lines and using almost no lines is really something to wrap my head around... heh. I think it was fairly succesful experiment. Its clear I still have to focus on proper proportion and measurement and all that, heh. It'll come with practice I guess.

In PS, 2.5 hours (probably would've been faster had I not chatted so much)

The new year begins

Well I've start maya and it is pretty awsome so far. I'll put some stuff up when I can. In the meantime, check out this gem. Beautiful stuff!
